Our conservation achievements would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our passionate and enthusiastic volunteers.

Volunteers help with many things, including caring for our conservation lands, fundraising, writing, and serving on our committees—all are important activities in our efforts to preserve Nova Scotia’s wild places.

Do you love to be outdoors? Are you someone who loves to make new connections? Check out the list below for our current volunteer opportunities! Note that we update this list when new opportunities become available.

*Please note that volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

The availability of our volunteer opportunities depends on the time of year and the up-to-date needs of our staff teams. We invite you to complete a volunteer application to tell us the kinds of roles you are interested in and a bit about your experience.  When a role becomes available that matches your interests and experience, we will contact you directly to discuss next steps. To request a volunteer application, or if you have questions, please contact volunteer@nsnt.ca.
